Junior Portfolio Analyst

Our client, an international company in the Investments Sector based in Malta, is looking to recruit a Junior Portfolio Analyst to join their team. 

Reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager the candidate will have the below responsibilities:

• Verifying real estate investments against established checklists.
• Preparing deal review documents using standardized templates.
• Reviewing due diligence certificates and coordinating any required actions.
• Ensuring timely receipt and proper storage of post-transaction documents.
• Assisting in the preparation of various reports, including those for the MFSA and the Board of Directors.
• Ensuring relevant committee meetings are held and minutes are properly recorded and stored.
• Collaborating closely with Senior Management and providing administrative support as needed.
• Staying updated on any updates or circulars issued by the MFSA.
• Providing ad hoc support as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in investments or real estate
• Preferably with a corporate or banking background.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Consistently able to meet established timelines while ensuring strict compliance with all applicable deadlines and procedures.
