Junior Operations Officer

Our Client a Financial Institution operating in the FinTech area is seeking to recruit a Junior Operations Officer to join their team;

Forming part of our dynamic Operations team, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:

• Daily processing and reconciliation of payments and cards transactions;
• Reconciliation of ordered / received cards issued;
• Overseeing card packaging and delivering;
• Maintenance and monitoring of Card products inventory;
• Resolving problems arising during cards and payments processing and reconciliations;
• Liaising with other departments;
• User Acceptance Testing for the payments and cards system platform;
• Providing assistance in the cards and payments fraud monitoring;
• Providing assistance in the cards chargebacks handing;
• Providing assistance in drafting policies and standard operating procedures;
• Providing assistance in other generic day to day operational tasks;
• Assisting with the account opening in accordance with the Customer Acceptance Policy;
• Providing first level of customer support.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• At least one year experience in a similar role within banking or financial institution;
• Advance working knowledge of Microsoft office tools, especially Excel;
• Advance working knowledge of Microsoft office tools, especially Excel;
• Excellent written and spoken English;

Education & Experience

In possession of Banking and Finance related qualification;
