Sales Receptionist

  Central Malta  |  €17,000 - €18,000 Annually 

Our client is looking to recruit a Sales Receptionist to join their growing team. Reporting to the Floor Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet customers as they enter the showroom;
  • Provide information about products and services;
  • Assist customers with their inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a professional manner;
  • Ensure the showroom maintains a welcoming and inviting atmosphere;
  • Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payments accurately and efficiently.;Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change to customers.
  • Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate accounting;
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel;
  • Maintain an organized and tidy reception area;
  • Assist with data entry and updating customer information in the store’s database;
  • Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and mailing;
  • Support the sales team with tasks such as preparing sales reports and managing inventory records;
  • Help manage product displays and ensure merchandise is presented attractively;
  • Assist with promotional activities and in-store events;
  • Encourage add-on sales and upsell products when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with cash registers and other point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Person must be located and settled in Malta, with local experience in the industry and/or role.

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role preferred.
  • Experience in a retail environment is an advantage.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
