Purchasing Officer


As the Purchasing Officer you will be reporting to the Purchasing Director while being responsible for maintaining the company purchasing policies and procedures, maintaining the inventory system and liaising closely with other departments to ensure timely invoicing and payments.  Main duties are as follows:

  • Maintain the procurement system database and purchasing policies and procedures
  • Track the progress of all shipments and take the right action for any discrepancies
  • Track all materials at the warehouses / inventory control
  • Liaise with Finance Department ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Keep track of backorders
  • Travel - business trips quarterly

Education and Experience

  • A’ Level of Education is needed as a minimum
  • 3 years minimum experience in a Purchasing role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software
  • Knowledge of purchasing software is a must - MXP given priority
  • Professional level of English is a must
  • Knowledge of French and/or German will be considered an asset


  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to work independently in a pro-active manner
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
