Planning Coordinator

Within this job as Planning Coordinator, you will be providing administering the planning and scheduling of production plans in line with customer orders. Based in an office environment, your duties will include:

  • Planning of the needed resources including material, machinery, and manning to meet customer orders
  • Scheduling sales and work orders based on customer requested date, manufacturing cycle time, available capacity and lead time
  • Monitoring the production process and adjusting schedules as required
  • Ensuring the efficient production of goods in the correct amount, cost and level of quality
  • Carrying out general office duties such as filing and paperwork
  • Liaising with other departments especially manufacturing and sales
  • Maintaining KPIs 
     

Education & Experience

This vacancy requires:

  • Fluency in verbal and written English and Maltese
  • Proficiency IT applications, including MS Office and Excel
  • Knowledge and experience in production and/or technical processes is preferable
  • A relevant degree or diploma would be considered a strong asset
