Payroll Clerk

€20,000 - €22,000  |  Malta

A new vacancy as a Payroll Clerk is currently available with a well-established company focused on the importation and exportation of food:

Responsibilities:

  • Updating and maintaining timekeeping information of all employees
  • Calculating pay according to vacation and sick leave
  • Evaluating bonuses and employee benefits
  • Assisting in the onboarding of new employees and the drafting of contracts respectively
  • Liaising with the relevant authorities with regards to the work permit process
  • Responsible for any other duties that might be required from time to time

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-year local working experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience using Dakar/Shirburn software is a requirement 
  • Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English
