Tax Compliance Specialist

Our client, a boutique CSP company based in Malta, is looking to recruit a Tax Compliance Specialist. Reporting to the Tax Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible for: 

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of income tax returns and computations for both corporate entities and individuals
• Preparing DDT10 exemptions, shareholder registrations, dividend warrants, and income tax refund claim forms
• Assist with clients in connection with provisional tax payments
• Providing assistance with tax advisory assignments and income tax publications on an ad hoc basis
• Liaise with the tax authorities on tax matters as may be required
• Maintaining a good understanding of the changing tax environment, both locally and internationally

Skill-sets and Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of work experience within a similar role
• ACCA fully or partly qualified
• Good knowledge of the Malta Income Tax System.
• Good command of English both verbal and written (proficiency in Maltese and another language would be an asset)

Education & Experience

• Degree from Universiy of Malta in Accountancy (Honors or Master)
• MIT course on Taxation will be an asset
