Our client a boutique CSP is currently on the lookout for a Tax Accountant to join their growing team.
Duties include:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the latest tax laws
- Assist the Head of Tax, VAT, and Accounts in providing comprehensive tax advisory services to our clients
- Handle tax audits, respond to tax authorities’ inquiries, and manage any related tax disputes or issues on behalf of clients
- Offer expert advice on tax implications related to business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial activities
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to address tax-related matters affecting clients’ overall financial strategies
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and proactively communicate updates to clients and colleagues
- Stay updated on international tax developments and assist clients with cross-border tax matters, as needed
- Provide exceptional client service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong, long-lasting relationships
Skill-sets and Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in tax advisory or tax compliance roles
- In-depth knowledge of Malta's tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Familiarity with international taxation and cross-border tax issues is advantageous
Education & Experience
Fully Qualified through ACCA or equivalent
