Our client, a leader in the Finance and Legal Sector, is currently seeking a Senior Auditor to form part of their growing team:
Job Requirements:
- Responsible for ensuring all audits are carried out diligently, in a timely manner
- Preparation of audit clients' tax computations and tax returns
- Providing tax and audit advice, as required
- Responsible for carrying out and completing the financial audit
- Train, mentor and assist junior staff
- Preparation of management accounts, analysis of variances and other ratios, where necessary
Education:
- Accounts University Degree, ACCA or ACA
Experience:
- Previous experience in an audit-related role within an audit firm
- Knowledge of IFRS & GAPSE is essential
- Knowledge of the Companies Act and The Income Tax Act is a necessity
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English; Italian will be considered an asset
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Must be highly organised and meticulous
