Senior Accountant

One our clients is looking to recruit a Senior Internal Accountant to join their law and advisory firm. 

The main responsibilities include :

• The daily monitoring of bookkeeping activities
• Maintaining company accounting records and preparing periodic management reports (monthly, quarterly, or yearly)
• Compiling statutory and regulatory requirement submissions
• Helping in the preparation of the budget process
• Liaising with external auditors to assist in their queries and ensuring proper compliance with all regulations
• Compiling and submitting VAT returns
• Interpreting and providing financial data to non-financial managers
• Managing the accounting team and monitoring performance.
• Ensuring that all assigned tasks to the team are carried out within the pre-determined deadlines.
• Reviewing the financial statements
• Handle optimal resource allocation
• Overall responsibility for ensuring the quality of the Company’s accounting following IFRS’s, GAPSME, and the Companies’ Act
• Assist with and oversee any tax-related matters
• Assist non-financial managers with the interpretation and provision of financial data
• Perform any ad hoc requests by management 

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Similiar role
• The ability to work both independently and in a team
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Must have experience in iGaming

Education & Experience

In Possession of an accounting qualification
