Our client, a large well known group of companies, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their Finance function. The selected candidate would be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- The preparation of annual capital budgets
- Assisting in the preparation of group treasury policies and procedures
- Subsidiary loan repayment plans
- Financial analysis
- The monitoring of expenditure, analyse revenues, budget variances and recommend effective solutions.
- Assisting in the preparation of the audit files by providing necessary information
- Monitor and record financial transactions
- Monitoring and planning of financial position, working capital and cashflow
- Manage external relations with various financial institutions
Education & Experience:
- University Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualified
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial accounting
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Fluency in English and Maltese whilst a good command of Italian would be considered an asset
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- High level of organisation
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
