An innovative international client of ours operating within the Pharmaceutical industry is currently recruiting a Junior Accountant to join their Finance team in Malta.
Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices
- Post general entries to maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bank and supplier reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Maintain receivables by tracking and following up on outstanding payments
- Actively chase debtors to ensure timely collection of payments
- Post expense claims forms and verify their accuracy
- Other ad hoc duties as required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of local experience in a similar role doing up to trial balance
- Knowledge of SAP system is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications
- Ability to multitask with a can-do and follow-through attitude
Education & Experience
In the initial stages of ACCA and actively studying
