A leading pharmaceutical distributor is seeking to recruit an Head of Finance to join the company. The selected candidate will be overseeing the finance function and have one person reporting to him/her. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Generating monthly or quarterly management accounts in line with the accounting standards
- Managing and overseeing the daily financial operations
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization
- Overseeing cash flow management and taxation whilst seeking advice where necessary from external firms
- Managing and mentoring a high performing finance team
- Seeking out methods for minimizing financial risks for the company
- Researching and analyzing financial reports in line with market trends
- Liaising with external auditors and preparing the necessary reporting for the audit to be carried out
- Participating in general management functions, including management meetings, the recruitment of team members, and the handling of the company’s performance management process for the finance team
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Minimum three years experience in a similar role
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Candidates holding managerial experience will be given preference

Fully qualified and warranted accountant
