Group Head of Finance

​A client of ours specialising in the logistics sector is currently looking to onboard a Group Head of Finance to join their team. This person will be reporting directly to the CEO:

Duties:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the finance function
• Manage the group’s treasury ensuring effective control over cash and that adequate levels of liquidity are available as and when required
• Develop and lead the group’s financial planning process
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports at regular intervals and follow same with management and the Board
• Perform effective risk management by analysing the organisation’s operations and investment plans
• Assume the leadership of the finance function of the group’s operations in Malta
• Safeguard the company’s profitability by securing revenues and control costs in order to achieve sustainable growth
• Effectively pllan the organisation’s financial strategy.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• In depth knowledge of corporate finance and risk management practices
• Proven experience as head of finance or relevant role is a must
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

Education & Experience

Must be in possession of an Accounting Degree; or ACCA or similar
