Financial Planning Analyst

Our client, a leading business support company is looking to recruit a Financial Planning Analyst to join their growing team.

Main responsibilities : 

 

• Provide FP&A support for productivity, demand planning, and financial metrics.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and reports.
• Contribute to organization-wide projects and initiatives.
• Assist with the close process, including ledger reviews, accruals, and variance explanations.
• Identify revenue opportunities and cost savings.
• Serve as finance liaison to departments, supporting their initiatives.
• Analyze variances in forecasts, budgets, and prior expenses.
• Help automate consolidated reporting.
• Perform account and system reconciliations.
• Review financial reports and presentations.
• Handle ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and manage time effectively as a self-starter

Education and Experience

• Level 6 MQF qualification in accounting and/or financial management.
