A well established European asset management group setting up their offices in Malta, are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their newly local team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Creating of weekly and monthly multiple reports of the group and its investments and presenting this to the Management and Board of Directors
- Supporting and coordinating of all budget & forecast processes on a group level
- Act as the main point of contact for any finance and controlling matters
- Liaising and be the main point of reference with the Board of Directors in relation to investment planning, analysis and reporting
- Preparation of cash reports on a weekly basis
- Any other duty which may be required from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Minimum 3 -5 years working experience in a similar role within Financial Services
- Possess a strong understanding of cash flows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Team player with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Possess excellent knowledge in IFRS
- Travelling is required
Education & Experience
Hold a Masters in Accountancy or ACCA qualified
