Financial Controller

One of our clients within the Insurance industry are looking for a Financial Controller to join their international team

• Prepare all annual financial statements in line with the applicable regulations and submit them to the regulator in a timely manner.
• Prepare tax calculations for AICELM and ensure that the tax returns are submitted within the applicable deadlines.
• Prepare all regulatory and statistical filing for AICELM in line with the applicable regulations and submit to regulator in a timely manner.
• Review and submit external financial reports for AICELM within deadlines.
• Maintain relationships with the Banks.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive - Europe, Senior management or the Core team.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Ideally 3 years experience in a similar role.
• IFRS17 – some knowledge would be helpful but not essential
• Insurance experience especially with Solvency II experience would be given a preference
• Experience in working with Maltese regulator would be a plus
