A well-established company offering Energy and Building services in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller to lead their finance function.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the preparation of the monthly accounts by the pre-established deadline
- Managing budgeting and financial forecasts
- Developing long term financial projections
- Managing the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory reporting
- Reporting financial results and projections for the CEO and Board of Directors
- Be the main point of contact with the statutory auditors to prepare annual audited financial statements
- Cash flow management
- Ensuring control processes are followed to maintained
- Involvement in new projects
- Management of a small accounting team and ensuring proper distribution of work
Skill-sets and Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience post qualification
- Excellent communication in English
- Experience using Sage would be considered a strong asset
Education & Experience
Fully qualified with an Accounting Degree or through ACCA
