Finance & Procurement Specialist

Malta  |  up to €21,000 

Our Client, a leading public sector entity, is looking to recruit a Finance & Procurement Specialist to join their Corporate Team. Reporting to the Head of Corporate and Senior Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible for: 

Responsibilities: 

  • Issuing purchase orders from the accounting system 
  • Processing supplier invoices 
  • Assisting in monthly payment runs 
  • Bank reconciliations 
  • Managing petty cash 
  • Drafting and issuing of quotations or tenders
  • Keeping new and existing procurement contracts up to date 
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of previous experience in an accounting position
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written in English and Maltese
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to both work independently as well as part of a team

Education & Experience

Certified in O Levels including English, Maltese, Mathematics & Accounts
