Finance Officer

Malta  |  €20,000 - €23,000 Annually 

Our client within FMCG is currently looking for a Finance Officer to join their growing team.

Duties include:

  • Prepare supplier' reconciliations and keep track of ad hoc payments required to be made on a monthly basis
  • Initiating payment processes to suppliers from the banking system
  • Liaising with suppliers on any reconciling items and following up on receipt of credit notes and sending of remittance advices
  • Maintaining account ledgers and appropriate reconciliations
  • Working with various stakeholders to improve the accounts payable process, controls and analysis
  • Liaising with the various stakeholder on preparing and maintaining an inventory count schedule
  • Attending weekly stock takes, updating the system accordingly and discussing with the Finance Manager any discrepancies noted
  • Any other related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working within an accounting function 
  • Be ICT literate; systematic and familiar with problem-solving methodologies
  • Fleuncy in both written and spoken English, Maltese would be considered as an asset. 

Qualifications

  • Has an A-Level in accounts, AAT Diploma will be considered as an asset
