Finance Officer (South of Malta)


In this role of a Finance Officer within the manufacturing industry, you will form part of the Tax Team and your responsibilities will include;

  • Handling matters related to customers, such as updating selling prices, credit control, monitoring sales and revenue recognition
  • Assisting in matters related to outbound payments, such as accruing for expenses
  • Ensuring compliance with customer contracts, managing due diligence with the company's requirements and ensuring compliance with company and international procedures
  • Inventory management including the monitoring of saleability of inventory
  • Assisting on financial planning and control of activities related to customers
  • Providing reports on trade with customers as well as proposing recommendations for improvement
  • Other ad hoc duties that may be required including providing administrative support to the team

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably Maltese
  • Must be highly organised and meticulous
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Education & Experience

  • Minimum requirement of an Accounts A'Level
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
