A client of ours, an IT solutions provider, forming part of a highly reputable Group of Companies, is currently looking to onboard a Finance Manger to join their team; The designated person will be working closely with the Director of Finance and responsibilities are as follows:
Duties:
- Oversee Management of the month-end process and year-end closing
- Review bank reconciliations and other balance sheet items
- Monitoring of the the sales ledger, purchase ledger and stock control
- Manage the external audit process, and liaise accordingly with external auditors
- Compile VAT returns and perform other duties as required
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- A can-do attitude and proven leadership skills are also essential to the role
Education and Experience
- Must be a fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACCA qualified
