Finance Manager

  Central Malta  |  €45,000 - €50,000 Annually 

A new opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to work with one of our clients operating within the Retail industry. The chosen candidate will be forming part of a closely knit finance team and managing the junior accountants

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flow
  • Oversee company's accounts and investments
  • Produce quarterly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
  • Supervise and manage the Junior Accountants
  • Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with auditing services
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost-reduction opportunities

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous local experience doing up to management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
  • Managerial experience in considered an asset
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Excel is a must-have
  • A strong can-do attitude and able to challenge
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English

Education & Experience

Fully-qualified or in the last stages of ACCA
