Finance Manager

A leading pharmaceutical distributor is seeking to recruit an Finance Manager to join the company. The selected candidate will be overseeing the finance function and have one person reporting to him/her. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparing and managing daily/monthly bank reconciliations
• Monitoring of bookkeeping, accounts receivables and payables on a daily basis
• Preparing accruals and other month end journals as required as well as management accounts 
• Managing cash flow reporting and assisting with cash management
• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Liaising with auditors and preparing the necessary files on an annual basis
• Delivering of training and assessments as required

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Minimum three years experience in a similar role
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Candidates holding managerial experience will be given preference

Education & Experience

Fully qualified accountant/In the last stages of ACCA
