Finance Manager

Our client working in the Retail industry is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. 

Duties include: 

• Prepare statutory reporting and returns
• Month end and year end processes
• Budgeting / forecasting processes and monitoring progress
• Prepare management weekly and monthly reporting
• Reviewing the company’s financial information with the Chief Financial Officer to identify areas of potential improvement.
• Preparation for and managing the external financial audit.
• Prepare and submit VAT Returns
• Assisting in cash flow calculations 
• Streamlining process when deemed necessary
• Liaising with banks and auditor’s requirements
• Preparation of reports as required and reconciliations
• Monitoring payments process
• Supervising and organising the Finance team
• Day to day accounting responsibilities

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial accounting position
• Previous experience managing a team
• Good multitasking and analytical skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent spoken and written English and Maltese

Education & Experience

Fully Qualified through ACCA or equivalent
