Our client, operating within the retail industry, is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Submission of VAT Returns and assisting in Tax Returns
- Reviewing of payroll calculations
- Hold a deep understanding of the company's operational aspects and is able to analyse financial results in line with the company's expectations
- Review and analyse information to make decisions, whilst also identifying areas of concern
- Manage a team and allocate tasks accordingly
- Liasing with both internal and external auditors
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Previous experience in retail is a must
- Eye for detail
- Good communication both verbal and written in English and Maltese
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (Specifically Excel)
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
- Leadership Skills
Education & Experience
Fully Qualified in ACCA or in final stages, Masters Degree in Accounting
