A Finance Manager position is currently available with a leading and well-established manufacturing company
Duties include:
- Prepare monthly management accounts including supporting schedules and reconciliations;
- Analyse performance against budgets and against prior years;
- Carry out revenue analysis and reporting;
- Work with the commercial team to maximise the sales and profitability of the company;
- Prepare detailed financial budgets;
- Prepare and file VAT returns, regulatory returns and statistics;
- Work within the Group-wide process for system improvement and change implementation to maximize workflow efficiency by focusing on process improvement and driving system change;
- Establish procedures to mitigate financial risks and ensure timely and accurate updating of accounting records;
- Liaise with statutory auditors for the efficient conduct of the audit process.
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a managerial position
- Be self-motivated, shows initiative and capable to work independently within challenging environments, while practicing high ethical standards at all times
- Possess the ability to lead and build effective working relationships with finance colleagues and management teams
- Be able to influence and motivate the team in implementation of plans for process improvement
- Be computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Have good written and verbal communication skills and good presentation skills.

Locally fully ACCA qualified
