Finance Executive

Our client based in Malta is currently looking for a positive and motivated individual to join its team in the position of a Finance Executive on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices, payments and allocation of receipts.
• Carry out account/bank and supplier reconciliations.
• Managing credit control.
• Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns and payments
• Completing all accounting duties up to trial balance stage.
• Compiling and submitting of National Statistics Office declaration when required.
• Assisting with reporting, forecasts, and audit queries.
• Performing other related work as necessary.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• At least 1-2 years previous experience in an accounting position
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Xero software will be considered an asset - training will be provided
• Good knowledge of English and Maltese language
• Deadline oriented
• Good organization and communication skills
• Learning attitude and team oriented
• Being able to work unsupervised

Education & Experience

• A’ level qualification in Accounting
• Early stages of ACCA or equivalent are considered an asset
