Finance Assistant (South of Malta)

Our Client is currently seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant who will be responsible for the credit control function within the business. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of debtors’ accounts and to assist the company in managing its cash flow.


  • In constant contact with customers to settle pending invoices on time
  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
  • Ensuring timely payments of debts and chase any overdue invoices
  • Processing and reconciling payments received against pending invoices
  • Maintaining strong relationships with all clients as well as internal staff members
  • Liaising with company lawyers to determine best way forward in the case of non-payment by debtors
  • Understanding and being familiar with customers’ billing processes and be involved when required
  • To carry out any additional duties assigned from time to time

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English
  • Good business acumen for problem-solving
  • A minium one years experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of excel
