Finance & Administration Officer

€17,000 - €21,000  |  Malta

A Finance & Administration Officer position is currently available with a company operating within the manufacturing industry in Malta.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with banks
  • Handling basic bookkeeping 
  • Ensuring all receipts from debtors are matched with the relative invoices
  • Preparing documentation which is required for submission to the bank
  • Monitoring the FIM submissions and ensuring funds disbursed are accurate
  • Monitoring and chasing debtors as required for overdue payments
  • Handling and maintaining the filing system
  • Ensuring that bank payments have the relevant documentation in order for accurate posting
  • Communication with offices abroad through e-mail
  • Updating of spreadsheets
  • Any other duties for the smooth running of the department 

Education & Experience:

  • Previous experience dealing with local banks
  • A minimum of 1 year previous experience in accounting environment locally is a must
  • A related accounting qualification (minimum A'level standard) or equivalent will be considered important
