Director of Finance

Our client is seeking to recruit a Director of Finance. This role is project based whereby you will play an integral role in supporting the group in standardising financial reporting, and driving process optimisation across subsidiaries. The role would report into the Deputy CFO. 

Duties include: 

• Serve as an interim CFO or Director of Finance for group subsidiaries when the need arises. 
• Act as a high-level resource for subsidiaries requiring additional hands-on support in implementing reporting changes. 
• Lead the development and implementation of standardised financial reporting templates processes across the Group
• Develop and enforce Financial Reporting and KPI rulebooks to ensure consistency across subsidiaries
• Audit and review financial reporting processes within subsidiaries to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Provide practical and impactful recommendations for financial reporting process optimisation and oversee their implementation
•  Provide training and support to subsidiary finance teams on newly implemented processes as needed. 
• Support in managing the rollout of group-wide financial changes, including new tools, and processes
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes. 
• Perform any other ad-hoc assignments or projects as may be requested by the Deputy CFO. 

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in senior finance roles, including project-based work or consultancy within a large organisation
• Expertise in financial reporting, process optimisation, and managing cross-functional projects
• A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership and execution.
• Flexibility to travel as required for secondments and project-based assignments

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
