Our client, operating within the manufacturing industry is seeking to recruit a Credit Controller. Reporting to the group Finance Manager the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing the outstanding balances of companies and ensuring timely collection of overdue amounts are respected and in line with the agreed credit terms
- Delivering an efficient credit control service through ongoing monitoring, reminders, and calls to customers with overdue amounts
- Processing receipts and updating the accounting system
- Allocating receipts in customer accounts
- Performing reconciliation of balances with customers and handling queries
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Preparing regular reports and presentations to the management
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Fluency in English and Maltese
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical thinking, problem solver and team player
Education & Experience
Minimum O level standard of education
