Credit Controller (Part-Time)

Malta

A part-time Credit Controller position is available with a leading company operating in the shipping industry in Malta.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Calling clients to resolve and minimize overdue debts 
  • Collecting payments according to agreed terms
  • Chasing of debtors
  • Coordinating any possible legal action with the company's Director
  • Maintaining files, records, and journals for overdue debtors 
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc administration duties

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of A-level standard of education
  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience in credit control or similar duties is preferred
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Shireburn software would be preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese are required

Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and a meticulous approach
  • Have a pleasant telephone manner and able to communicate clearly by email
  • ​​Be able to communicate clearly with debtors, firmly but politely, in order to chase debts owed to the company
  • Must have a driving license and is currently living in Malta

Working 20-25 hours per week Monday to Friday 08 - 12PM / 13PM
