Credit Control Officer

  Central Malta  |  €28,000 - €30,000 Annually 

Our client, a well established CSP is seeking to recruit a Credit Control Officer. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the debtor ledger to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Communicating professionally with clients to follow up on overdue accounts and resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to confirm billing accuracy and address client inquiries promptly and effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of all communications and financial transactions.
  • Preparing and presenting regular debtor reports, including aging analyses and payment trend insights, for management review.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the Group to strengthen credit control and collection processes.
  • Assisting the rest of the team in preparing, issuing, and distributing monthly client invoices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role ideally within Financial Services
  • Possess excellent intrapersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Professional and client oriented
