Credit Control Officer

One of clients is looking for a responsible individual to join their credit control team as a Credit Control Officer

The main responsibilities include:

  • Chasing overdue accounts and contacting clients both by phone and email.
  • Keeping a log of all client chasing being done.
  • Taking ownership of a number of clients which will remain the responsibility of that particular credit controller.
  • Assisting with client queries, both at internal and external level.
  • Making sure all payments are received in a timely manner.
  • Performing account reconciliations where necessary.
  • Sending statement runs to clients.
  • Opened of new client accounts and the necessary credit checks.
  • Posting of payments and other general administrative/accounting responsibilities.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Fluency in Maltese
  • Previous experience in credit control (debtor chasing)

Education & Experience

A-level of Education in Accounting or similar
