Credit Control Executive

Our client, a leading Group of Companies within the Catering / FMCG Industry, is recruiting a Credit Control Executive, who will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller 

Duties include: 

• Ensuring the timely and effective collection of dues
• Ensuring all documentation is compiled accurately and in line with company policies
• Monitoring the credit worthiness of clients and ensuring that all portfolios are in line with their agreed limits
• Maintaining accurate and up to date customer credit data on the company’s system
• Taking an active participation in the handling of disputes with customers
• Immediate flagging of default accounts and taking immediate corrective action
• Supervising, coaching, mentoring and evaluating the performance of the team
• Effective liaising with all departments within the group
• Debriefing of truck-runs, raising credit notes for returned goods and reconciling bank deposits with depot daily transactions.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Minimum of 3-years of local experience in a similar commercial credit control function
• Be self-motivated, have leadership skills and capable to work independently under minimal supervision
• Bbe a clear and concise communicator both internal and external clients / stakeholders
• Fluent in both written and spoken Maltese and English
• Experience in managing a team is preferred
