A new Cost Analyst role is now available within the manufacturing industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Integrating costings with manufacturing, plant maintenance, QA and material handling
- Driving the computation of manufacturing costings, actual period-end closing, variance calculation and standard cost budget
- Introducing cost control measures and getting the team onboard with changed processes
- Support commercial scenarios and simulations - CAPEX & marginality
- Building the yearly budget components and related analysis
- Setting up yearly standard costs for production of various goods
- Driving feedback and direction in relation to improvement areas in terms of productivity, waste reduction and cost control
- Identifying efficiency opportunities from a financial point of view
- Analyzing different processes with the aim of cost savings
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Solid experience working in costings with a sound knowledge of ERP
- Fluency in English is a must
- Analytical and number cruncher
- Capable to structure and define the role from scratch
Education & Experience
An ACCA or CIMA qualification or similar is required
