Commercial Clerk

  Central Malta  |  up to €22,000 Annually 

Our Client, one of the leading companies in Malta is currently looking to recruit for a detail-oriented and organised individual to join their team as a Commercial Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various administrative and clerical tasks to support the commercial operations. Reporting to the Commercial Manager in the Finance Department, the candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aid in organising and filing commercial documents.
  • Manage the opening and maintenance of client trading accounts
  • Maintain tracking sheets and oversee approval workflows for pending Outlet Discount Adjustment Forms and other commercial documents.
  • Update client discounting as per approved requests from the Sales Department.
  • Support the Finance Department in handling client price discrepancy claims.
  • Assist the Assistant Commercial Manager in renewing annual Sales Agreements.
  • Assist in printing and distributing approved client contracts from the automated contract system.
  • Help track and collect client contracts awaiting signatures.
  • Assist in analysing the performance of client target rebate agreements monthly.
  • Assist in facilitating payments to clients related to rebate and advertisement space agreements.
  • Handle routine correspondence, including letters and contract addendums.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0800hrs - 1700hrs


  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or business setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent level of English both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • SAP knowledge would be an asset
