Client Accountant

  Central Malta  |  up to €35,000  

One of our clients, offering corporate services to a variety of international and local clients, is looking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their team with the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • The ability to building strong working relationships with clients 
  • Well organized, and comfortable being able to identify client issues and communicate these with client 
  • Contacting debtors and chasing up via email as well as telephone
  • Liaising with external parties such as clients, banks, suppliers, auditors and/or government authorities
  • Preparation of invoices & credit notes on behalf of corporate clients
  • Use of Sage for inputting data
  • Executing bank payments on behalf of corporate clients
  • Bank, VAT, creditors and other accounts reconciliations
  • Management accounts preparation and/or financial statements
  • Preparation and submission of VAT Returns

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • 5 years experience within Accounting
  • Completely fluent in the English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Experience with Sage is desirable but training will be provided

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) and/or ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Candidates who are currently studying the ACCA will also be considered
