Our client, a local renowned Corporate Service Provider, is seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their accounting team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients both local and international, operating in various industries
- Building, enhancing and maintaining relationships with clients
- Preparing management accounts
- Completing and submitting VAT returns
- Liaising with auditors
- Preparing financial reports by analyzing and summarizing accounting information
Skill-sets and Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year experience within a similar environment
- Possess excellent command of accounting standards and Maltese tax in general
- Ability to work against tight deadlines and deliver in a timely manner
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese. Knowledge of the Italian language will be considered an asset
Education & Experience
Fully ACCA qualified or equivalent degree
