Audit Manager

Our client, a well known Financial Services provider is looking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their growing and multicultural team. 

Responsibilties:

• Planning Audit projects and ensuring adequate resources are allocated to the respective projects.
• Identify the audit approach to be taken from an early stage and checks that adequate resources are identified that have the required skills.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Audit team meets deadline requirements 
• Involve team members in the planning process and where required guide more junior members of the team in their prioritisation.
• Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the relevant regulatory framework, IFRS and other IAS's when relevant as well as an advanced understanding of business cycles and operational internal controls.
• Performing join activities with specialists early in the audit to identify risks, understand relevant controls and substantive procedures, including planned tests of IPE.
• Fully support Audit Partners in day-to-day activities
• Monitor client service standards and take action to improve audit quality service
• Applying the knowledge to improve the efficiencies of the audit process and to address the risks associated with the assignment.
• Manage multiple projects, through the management of a team of audit staff
• Continuously build and maintain effective working relationships with Audit clients

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Must have at least five years post qualifications experience.
• Strong commitment and proven record of professional and client service excellence
• Sound knowledge and experience of IFRS and ISA.
• Proven audit management experience
• Experience and evidence of business development
• Good team player
• MS Office literate
• Excellent communication - both spoken and written

Education & Experience

In possession of a Master’s degree in Accountancy / Fully qualified through ACCA
