A renowned client of ours is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance and administration team.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and reports
- Guarantee compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Oversee financial operations and transactions on a day-to-day basis
- Provide assistance in budgeting and variance analysis
- Be involved in reports and presentations for executive management
- Engage with various stakeholders such as banks, suppliers, tax departments and auditors
- Administering the payroll process by ensuring timely payment to employees
- Managing a small team of people within the Finance and Admin team
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounting position
- Excellent fluency in Maltese and English
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office, in particular Excel
- Ability to lead, assist and guide a small team
Education & Experience
Final stages of ACCA / Fully qualified
