Our client, within the investment property business, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller to take care of their accounting function. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts including supporting schedules and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyzing revenue
- Preparing detailed monthly cost analysis as well as cost control initiatives
- Forecasting the company's financial status whilst preparing financial statements
- Making sure compliance is adhered with whilst preparing the necessary and required reports
- Coordinating and preparing the required reports for the management
- Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts
- Supporting management in other duties which may be required
Skill-sets and Requirements
- A minimum 5 years experience working within a similar environment
- Proficient in cost controlling, cash management procedures and debt collection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good eye for detail with an ability to critically assess financial results
- Analytical with excellent problem solving skills
- Integrity and honesty
