Our client, a financial services company that offers accounting and audit services, is looking for an Accounts Team Leader to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and mentoring of other junior accounting executives within the company
- Ensuring efficient client services and providing support to administration staff
- Reviewing VAT Returns / periodic reports with staff before publishing to clients / submitting to Authorities
- Acting as a reference point to staff members in preparing Management Accounts and reviewing and finalizing yearly accounts in preparation for the audit
- Assisting and preparing monthly / yearly closing up to the finalizing of the Financial statements
- Assist with other account projects with a special interest in Malta Enterprise Scheme, VAT Regulations, Payroll Regulations
- Support the team in peak periods to make sure that deadlines are adhered to
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience on a similar role
- Very good command of English both written and spoken
- The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information
- Problem-solving abilities, organised & Eye to detail
Education & Experience
Currently in the Professional stage of ACCA or reading for an accounting degree
