Accounts Payable Supervisor

Our client based in St. Julians is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Make sure vendor invoices are valid in line with Company policies
• Processing accurately and timely vendor invoices onto the accounting system
• Run weekly creditor reports to identify vendors falling due for payment
• Month end A/P to GL reconciliations
• Preparing invoice accrual entry and any other month end journals as required.
• Performing regular creditors reviews ensuring that creditor balance queries are resolved
• Performing regular vendor statement reconciliations
• Monitoring and reconciliation of Petty Cash accounts in line with Company month end procedures
• Responsible for accurate and timely processing of staff expenses in accordance with Company policy
• Supervise and develop any direct reports
• Manage cash flow reporting and other ad hoc reports and assist with cash management.
• Maintaining accurate listings of Accommodation Commitments and Security Deposits.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Worked within a finance department processing A/P
• Worked for an international company is a plus
• Worked within a central finance function is a plus

Education & Experience

• Computer expert in Excel
• O Level English and Maths or equivalent
