Our client who specializes in the Hospitality sector is looking for a Accounts Payable Executive. This position is accountable for the oversight and upkeep of all aspects related to accounts payable. It ensures the proper recording and timely settlement of invoices, bills, and other financial commitments in an effective manner.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Receive, assess, and handle invoices, ensuring precision and compliance with company protocols.
- Confirm and align invoices with purchase orders and receipts for accuracy.
- Cultivate connections with suppliers and vendors, handling inquiries and resolving discrepancies professionally and promptly.
- Facilitate and process payments to vendors, using various methods such as checks and electronic transfers.
- Guarantee timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Conduct routine reconciliation of accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate and current records, addressing any discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain precise records of all accounts payable activities, invoices, and payment history.
- Compile regular financial reports on accounts payable, offering insights into cash flow and spending trends.
- Continually seek ways to enhance accounts payable procedures, improve efficiency, and minimize expenses.
- Review the aging report with the Financial Controller or their assistant.
- Provide support to the Financial Controller or their assistant in handling any incidental tasks as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational aptitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to perform effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
Education and Experience
- A Diploma in the Business or Financial sector or A'levels in Accounts
