Accounts Manager

€40,000 - €50,000  |  Malta

An Accounts Manager position is currently available with a reputable audit and advisory firm having an international client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Partner
  • Leading the finance team
  • Overseeing and handling the preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of international clients and a few local clients
  • Constant liaison with Directors, clients, and other stakeholders as may be requested
  • Being the main point of contact with clients and understanding their needs
  • Handling tax related queries and providing advice as may be required
  • Ensuring timely submissions to the relevant authorities including MFSA and VAT department 
  • Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department

Education & Experience:

  • You must be fully qualified through ACCA or similar and have previous experience in leading a senior team
  • 5 years post qualification experience in a similar role locally is a must
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese VAT and Tax framework
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS/GAPSE

  • Capable of working under pressure and adhering to strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills in English, and preferably also Maltese
