Accounts Executive

Our client within the yachting industry is looking for an Accounts Executive to join their team

Responsibilities: 

  • Accounts Payable/Receivable including payments to suppliers
  • Maintenance of all accounts up to Trial Balance stage
  • General Ledger journals and reconciliations
  • Reconciliations of both debtors and creditors statements
  • Reconciliations of all Bank Accounts
  • Monitoring of cash flows
  • Debt Collection
  • Payroll both fortnightly and monthly
  • Preparation of Recapitulative Statements and Vat Returns
  • FSS submissions to the Inland Revenue
  • Preparation for Audits
  • Assisting and backing up the Financial Controller role in times of absence

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in Payroll. Preference will be given to candidates with Shireburn software knowledge
  • Able to communicate well in both Maltese and English language
