Accounts Executive

A position of Accounts Executive has arisen within the Retail Industry, reporting to the Financial Controller the chosen candidate will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Posting of invoices. processing payments and maintaining the accounts receivables and the accounts payables
• Chasing debtors and liasing with debtors in solving any disputes
• Preparation of bank and inter-company reconciliations
• Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly management accounts and preparation for audit
• Any other ad hoc duties as requested by management

Skill-sets and Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years work experience within an accounting position
• Familiar with the use of Sage, however this is not a requirement
• Fluency in Maltese and English
• Attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft application (specifically Excel and Word)

Education & Experience

• A level in Accounts
• Actively studying the beginning stages of ACCA
