Our client, a shipping company located in Malta, is looking for an Accounts Clerk/Port Cost Analyst to join their team

Responsibilites:​

  • Keeping the accounts up to date.
  • Liaising with Suppliers.
  • Updating General ledgers as necessary.
  • Entering data and posting of invoices.
  • Handling the Agency Disbursement Accounts for vessel’s expenses in Ports.
  • Dealing with tariffs and liaising with clients regarding payments and discounts.
  • Liaising with Administration and Operation Departments, to facilitate the day to day operational duties.

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting roles
  • MIcrosoft Excel literate
  • Experience in the shipping sector will be an asset

Education & Experience

A' Level in Accounts
